For SaaS pricing pages
Put the right customer proof next to your pricing table
A pricing page visitor is not asking whether you are good. They are asking whether it is worth it for a team like theirs. Pick the objections your buyers raise, and the planner tells you which proof answers each one and where it goes.
We put the review wall under our pricing table and prospects quote the reviews back to us on calls.
The problem, solved
What usually goes wrong with pricing page proof, and how StoryProof fixes each one
Praise that answers nothing
"Great product, love it!" tells a buyer comparing plans nothing about value, fit or switching.
With StoryProof: Put the exact objection to customers on that plan as the form’s question. They reply from one browser link by video, audio note or a few lines of text.
A wall of logos far from the decision
Proof placed under the footer is never seen by the person hovering over the upgrade button.
With StoryProof: Compact layouts such as badges and single quotes are built to sit right under a plan card, and each one drops in with two lines of HTML wherever the decision happens.
The wrong customer
A quote from a ten-person startup does not reassure a buyer evaluating the plan built for fifty seats.
With StoryProof: Tag testimonials by team size or plan, then fill the widget beside each tier with only the stories from customers who bought that tier.
Quotes that outlive the price
A customer who wrote that it was "worth every cent at $29" is now quoted beside a $49 plan. Old numbers in a quote make the new price look like a bait and switch.
With StoryProof: On repricing day, pull any quote that names the old price out of its widget. Widgets load from StoryProof each time, so the change shows on the live page at once.
Flip the switch to see how StoryProof handles each one.

Plan your pricing page proof
Choose the objections you hear in sales calls and churn surveys, and the proof you already have. The planner orders the placements, names a layout for each and gives you the question to ask customers when you are missing the right story.

In StoryProof
Build it with StoryProof
Step 1 of 4
Bring in the reviews you already have
Reviews from 24 platforms, including G2, Capterra and TrustRadius, can be imported by CSV upload or manual entry. Direct-sync connectors are not available yet.
Step 2 of 4
Collect the missing stories with the planner’s prompts
Send the prompt for each gap to customers on the matching plan. They answer by video, audio note or text from one link.
Step 3 of 4
Tag each approved testimonial by objection
Tags such as "price", "switching" or "team size" make it quick to find the right story for each spot.
Step 4 of 4
Build one small widget per placement
Choose the layout the planner suggested and add only the testimonials tagged for that objection. Paste each widget’s embed code into your pricing page.

Compact proof beside a plan card
A Rating Badge sits under a plan without competing with the price. This preview is the live layout with sample data, not StoryProof’s own ratings.
Before you start
Keep it honest
What this does not cover, and what to check on your side. Better to know now than after launch.
- 01
Only quote what customers said
Trim for length, never for meaning. If a customer’s numbers are in the quote, they need to be their numbers.
- 02
Respect the source’s terms
Reviews imported from a third-party site stay attributed to it. Check that platform’s terms on republishing before you show them.
- 03
One strong quote beats six
Each placement answers one objection. Adding more widgets to the pricing page competes with the plans for attention.
- 04
Proof cannot fix a confusing table
If buyers cannot tell which plan they need, a testimonial will not help them choose. Fix the plan names and limits first, then add proof.
FAQ
Questions people ask
Short answers to what usually comes up next.
Where should testimonials go on a SaaS pricing page?
Next to the decision they support: value proof by the plan cards, fit proof for larger teams by the higher tier, switching proof near the FAQ, and one reassurance line by the final button.
Video or text on a pricing page?
Text is quicker to scan beside a plan card. Keep video for a single placement where a longer story earns the click, such as near the switching FAQ.
Can I show G2 or Capterra reviews?
Yes. Export them from G2 or Capterra and upload the CSV to StoryProof, or add them by hand, then approve the ones you want and add them to a widget. Keep the source visible so buyers know where the review came from.
Should I show which plan the customer is on?
Where the customer is happy for you to, yes. A line such as "Team plan, 30 seats" under the quote tells a buyer straight away whether the story is about someone like them.
Do I need separate permission to show a customer’s logo?
Ask for it explicitly. Agreeing to a quote is not always agreement to use a company’s logo, and many larger companies have a brand team that has to sign off.
