What is the Featured Review widget?

Featured Review puts one review on a big card and lists several more next to it in smaller cards. The hero moves through your reviews on a timer or with arrows and dots, so the section stays one fixed size while still showing more than one customer.

It is a text-first layout. The large card has room for a full paragraph, a verified badge, the date and the reviewer's details, which makes it the right home for the review that answers your biggest objection.

Where the Featured Review works best

  • Directly under a homepage hero, when one story does most of the selling.
  • A product or service page, beside the feature that the review is about.
  • A sales page with one big objection, where a single detailed review can answer it better than your own copy.

When to choose a different layout

  • Choose the Spotlight Reel when the reviews you want to feature are videos rather than written reviews.
  • Choose the Quote Spotlight when one sentence is enough and you want it set large, like a pull quote.

What the Featured Review can show

On the hero card: stars, verified badge, the full review, the reviewer's name, photo, job title and company, the date and the platform badge. The side cards repeat a shorter version. Card colour, border and corner radius apply to both.

Setting it up

  1. 1Sort so your best review comes first, because the hero starts there.
  2. 2Switch autoplay off if you would rather visitors move the hero themselves with the arrows or dots.
  3. 3Featured Review always sits inline in the page; it is not delivered as a pop-up.

How is Featured Review different from the Spotlight Reel?

Featured Review is text-first: one large written review with others listed beside it. The Spotlight Reel is built for video, with video cards that expand on hover.

Does the featured review rotate?

Yes. The hero moves through your reviews, automatically if autoplay is on, or with the arrows and dots. You choose how many seconds each review stays.

Can it show a verified badge?

Yes. Featured Review is one of the layouts whose cards have room for the verified badge.
