<script async type="text/javascript" src="https://storyproof.io/widget.js"></script>What is the Trusted-by Row widget?
The Trusted-by Row is a static summary with nothing to click. It shows a cluster of overlapping customer photos, your stars and average score, a line saying how many customers trust you, and, if you like, the logos of the platforms your reviews come from.
It does one job: it backs up the claim your headline just made. A visitor reads no reviews here; they see that real people stand behind the number.
Where the Trusted-by Row works best
- Directly under a hero headline, where a claim needs backing before the first scroll.
- Next to a sign-up form, as a quiet reassurance that does not compete with the form.
- Pricing and checkout pages, where a full review section would be a distraction.
When to choose a different layout
- Choose the Avatar Strip when each face should open that person's review.
- Choose the Rating Badge when one platform's score in an even smaller chip is enough.
What the Trusted-by Row can show
Customer photos, stars, your average score, a count line and optional platform logos. Card colour, border and corner radius apply.
Setting it up
- 1Turn the platform logos on if your reviews come from places your visitors recognise.
- 2Place it in the same container as your headline so it reads as part of the hero rather than a separate section.
Trusted-by Row questions
Trusted-by Row or Avatar Strip?
The Trusted-by Row is a summary with nothing to click. The Avatar Strip is interactive: hovering a face shows a name, and clicking it opens that review.
Does it show any review text?
No. It shows faces, your score and a count line. Pair it with a layout like Quote Spotlight if you also want a customer's own words nearby.
Can it appear as a pop-up?
No. It is designed to sit inline under a headline, so pop-up delivery is not offered for it.
