The Testimonial Wall arranges reviews in masonry columns. Each card keeps its natural height, so a two-line quote and a long story sit next to each other without padding or cropping. It is the layout most people mean when they say “wall of love”.
Because cards are not forced to match, the wall is the easiest place to mix written reviews with video testimonials. Video cards follow the Video shape setting, and you decide whether the written review appears with each clip.
Where the Testimonial Wall works best
- A homepage, below the hero, when the number of happy customers is the argument and you want visitors to scroll through it.
- A campaign landing page, to answer “does this work for people like me?” with a dozen voices instead of one.
- A testimonials section, where visitors arrive wanting to read, not skim.
When to choose a different layout
- Choose the Review Grid when your page runs on strict rows and every card must line up, or each review should carry exactly equal weight.
- Choose the Testimonial List when the space is a narrow sidebar or rail, where columns would be cramped.
What the Testimonial Wall can show
Each card can carry the reviewer's name (or first name only), photo, job title and company, star rating, date, platform badge and verified badge, plus photos and video attached to the review. Long reviews can be cut short with the rest behind a link, and the card style setting rearranges every card at once.
Setting it up
- 1Walls get tall. Limit how many reviews the widget pulls in, and if a long scroll on phones is a problem, switch the phone layout to a carousel or a marquee.
- 2Set the background to transparent so your own section colour shows between the columns.
- 3If your reviews come from several sources, turn on a tab per platform so visitors can filter to the one they trust.

What is the difference between a testimonial wall and a review grid?
A wall keeps each card at its natural height in masonry columns, so long and short reviews pack together. A grid stretches every card in a row to the same height. The wall suits volume and variety; the grid suits pages where alignment matters.
Can a testimonial wall show video testimonials?
Yes. Video reviews sit in the wall alongside written ones, cropped to the video shape you choose, with the option to show the written review with each clip.
Will a long wall slow my page down?
The embed script loads asynchronously, so it does not hold up the rest of your page, and a placeholder holds the space until the widget is ready. You also choose how many reviews the wall shows.
Is this the same as a hosted Wall of Love page?
No. This widget is a section you embed inside one of your own pages. StoryProof can also host a standalone Wall of Love page for you, which is a separate feature.
